Isn't that official art from the game?
Also, there's a cursor in there. LOL
I've seen that picture before many times.
Plus that Grizzley is used in the Battlezone Classic banner.
Nice pic. If BZ1 really looked like this, I would be happy to give it a go. It almost looks like it could be recreated in the BZ2 engine maybe with a little terrain grid scaling to increase the vis range and space the buildings.
Something I wish was in BZ1 and 2, would be when you shot at a power unit, wherever you shot it at, would blow up and it would fly off.
Leaving a half of a power unit that is on fire.
It would seem more realistic than shooting a power unit in the top and all of it blowing up.

BZE1.3-RC1 doesn't have the richness of detail as the poster, but if you crank it up to its full 1900x1200 @ 60 FPS capability using DX9, it looks like an entirely different game engine.
what the crap what girl stands in front of a bz1 tank with a cat on her back
baconboy the only power that has been hit didnt even have any part of it blown off. your probably looking at the factory. but yes i would like to see chunks of a power plant come off wherever you shoot it
Thats doable in game btw, but only for PRE placed buildings. (pool object as destroyed fire form, deploy a special scav on it that is the full building)
The scrap drop method wont work because scrap has random orientation.
I'm looking forward a LOT to seeing what Ridley Scott does with 'The Forever War' in 2013. I was terribly disappointed in Starship Troopers onscreen. I hoping the genius of Scott will really deliver.
If by chance you posted that pick because you like the bug/ant sociological and psychological hive mind (insect) fighting against the primate branch of evolution. . . .the book Armor is another awesome read.
