Bz98 Redux Cheats

My dad is having trouble with the last mission and thinks getting an infinite ammo cheat will solve his problems. He's looked up this website http://www.gamespot.com/battlezone-1998/cheats/ but neither of us can figure out how this works OR if it'll even work with the steam version.

Can anyone simplify this? Thanks

The cheats work the same as the old game. Hold Ctrl + Shift while in game and enter the codes. (you must be holding the two buttons while entering the cheats) You will hear a sound effect if entered correctly.

Unfortunately, "iamadirtycheater" was not carried over to the Redux from that list of available cheats.

We both understand we need to hold cntrl and shift but do you still have to edit the game files for it to do that in the first place?

nvm my previous comment we figured it out. No file editing necessary.
