Re: README: Submitting logs of game problems
The second image is noting that a .pak file (not sure which one) is truncated. BZ2 stores most of its data in those files. After a successful install from the BZ2 1.0 CD (North America), data.pak should be 284MB (298,494,101 bytes), and patch13.pak should be ~99MB. You can locate those files in the same directory you installed BZ2 into; Windows Explorer will hide the ".pak" file extension by default, but that's their true name on disk.
Note that the 1.3.7.2 patch requires a successful install from CD first. Data.pak is from the CD installer and is not touched by 1.3.7.2. Patch13.pak is created by the 1.3.7.2 installer.

So, should I delete everything in my BZ2 Folder and try again, or what should I do?

Yea, I'd try an install from CD again, first. (check that data.pak file is the correct size, almost 284mb) and then install 1.3.7.2 onto that.

Re: README: Submitting logs of game problems
So, extract the 1.3.7.2 Patch to the Data.pak file, or to the BZII application itself? I tried that, but I fear I may have misinterpreted the instructions I was given and found.
A thorough step-by-step instruction would be nice, but yes, I'll delete BZII (since I can't find the Uninstall Application and the patch doesn't have an Uninstall anyways), and I should be fine since the disc is not in my PC at the current time.
I'm getting closer and closer to getting this game working, and better than ever. I feel tingly.

Step 1: Install from disk. (run Setup.exe)
Step 2: Install patch. (run the patch's exe, the file located inside the zip when you download it) Just keep clicking next on everything until it's finished.

Re: README: Submitting logs of game problems
Welp, just got a new message during the Installation process, after I deleted everything to do with Battlezone 2 on my PC (disc was not in it).General BlackDragon wrote:Step 1: Install from disk. (run Setup.exe)

Any idea what this means and how to fix it?

As the 1.3 patch readme notes, do not run the setup.exe located in the root of the CD. Dig into the setup folder and then run setup.exe from there.

Looking like you have a corrupted transfer there. The installer is having trouble reading from the source (CD)

My original 1.0 install of BZ2 has transferred from computer to computer from my original Windows 98 install
