-Empty Cancelling shouldnt be removed. Its just Build-Cancel. Like you send cons to build fac, then to follow.

Where do you get WASPS from?
You can't get them or Furies in BZ1MP unless you make a custom map...
I wish you did though.

Wasps are in the bdog bomber in bz1 and battlezone 1 has 4 or 5 different furies, the reason why i say 4 or 5 is one type of furry (the red one) has two different odf files and you need them both in your addon folder to use them. But it is the exact same fury.
You can use the wasp in bz2 by morphing a lancer with multilock but truely, bz2 has a lot of useless weapons weapons....
The reason being was prox mines was dropped 2 to a power up so in death match you'd blow up trying to get health.
In an effort to try to not to do that again the programmers totally rendered prox mines next to useless in bz2
Another cheap trick in bz1 was that your enemy would drive up to your base with a bdog grizzly and toss 3 or 4 splinters in your base and pretty much destroy your base. Splinter is now pretty useless in bz2.
Mag canon is the stupidest weapon idea ever. In Bz1 it was a problem i admit it was over kill. But in bz2 it's rendered pretty useless. Have you ever fired on a warrior with full armor and absorb shields?? miniguns have a bigger punch. it would have been cool if mag cannon did serious damage to ships with no sheilds and ships with deflection on. But the gun just sux.
Battlezone 1 was a lot more advanced in ways bz2 isn't but because i am more for strategy than death match i play bz2.
i don't find any problem with a lancers physics because the hull is high and the ship is better to be slow for balance. The current problem with lancers though is the stinger msl's are not going after thier target and are hitting the ground when the lancer fires, it's not so much the ship but the weapon....and i swear in earlier public beta's this was corrected but went back to useless.
as for RESIN it should just be taken out of the scion armory and removed from the game. I do not want to tell you why.
Popper for the archers was an awesome idea if the popers were a little better this is another weapon i rarely see used because by the time an air unit get's near by it already deployed it's bomb or pilots and is heading back to base and the archers...... i think poper range needs to be as long as a hornet.
In battlezone 1 SITE CAMERA was kick ass for looking for snipers....in bz2 site camera let's you see too much other ships rocks and things it's too hard to use in bz2.....i love the camera though.
Another disappointing thing is that mits mine was larger so that when the mag was fired by it, it would take the mag's bullets and suck it in and hold it there till the energy of the mag disappeared. I loved that...in bz2 they didn't put the effort into that.
Also with Mits mine if something was using vir you could drop the mine and they'd get stuck and you can lock on the mine and fire at it to hit thier ship....that was pretty damn cool.
cancelling scout builds for the same scrap is bad, if scions are imbalanced there's a lot of other things to do

Resin should NOT be removed unless a valid reason can be presented. Even then, every effort should be made to fix the issues and keep it in the game.

I may well agree with allot of what Killer Ak said, but BZ2 patches are not mods where we can alter things just as we wish, many of the weapons are less effective than in bz1, but that was the way they were intended and they do have their own uses in bz2. Don't you just love it when you actually manage to kill someone with a proxmine in a dogfight
Really any changes should fix something, (like emp streams sound channel flooding) that has become bug like.
Resin IS one of those cases as it can destroy a player's fps and it is really completely useless as a weapon. No good subtle fixes for it are immediately obvious to me though.
There are some weapons that should be popular, but are not, like the popper, I agree that its range should be adjusted to make it an effective anti-air weapon that can be placed within base defences.
I would also like to see the hornet buffed, so you can actually see the missile geometry and explosion.
I am trying to look at things from the players perspective and also trying to imagine what the developers might really have been intending, before bz2 got published somewhat prematurely.
At some point I think I will attempt to persuade people to submit assets for a "re-vision" rec variant, so we can test assets out in the public area where opinions can be hurled and potential exploits revealed.

I did take a screen shot but can't post it anyways after i listened to max on why he thinks canceling scion empty scouts is a balanced game.
I do admit he's right on a lot of points except one.
In the early game you do need some sort of advantage as scion because the isdf scout is superior and the gun spires are expensive.
However in the late game your base is built as a scion commander u have two upgraded pools and you are canceling empties for scrap. Watch this:
two upgraded extractors give you 80 scrap
Your red line is at 40. You build an empty at 39 and just before it's made you cancel out giving you about 61 scrap.
You wait 9 more scrap to get a mauler up and running or worse yet a new blinking warrior at 65 scrap
and your army is built pretty damn fast off only two pools.
Let's change the scenario,
If you are scion and you are commanding
3 pools ur red line i think would be at 60 and u have 40 green scrap.
You'd be building maulers like crazy

On 3 upgraded extractors on 4play i cancelled 3 empties to build 1 mauler, and beleive me cancelling 3 empties to build 1 mauler didn't take nearly as long as it does to make one mauler legitimately. Infact the more maulers i made it seemed like the process got quicker. Give it a try.

I am quite aware of the potential of this exploit, that is why I raised the subject, it pretty much negates much of the resource collection aspect of the game if done the right way, I was a little bit disappointed by the response's of some people, either some people have not realised quite how powerful it can be, or they wish it to remain because they do.
A reduction to around 10 for both empty scouts would pretty much neuter it as a useful thing to do I think.

If you are worried about empty cancelling on 4 play, that game is already FUBAR due to the monstrous respawning scrap.
