Watched Apollo 18 this weekend. Not much on effects, but the story was gripping. Was a "B" movie in my opinion.

White Nights - Didn't finish it, Netflix was acting up, but saw the first half. Baryshnikov is an excellent actor, and I almost didn't recognize Helen Mirren.

The Secret of Kells - Spectacular visuals and music, great concepts and material, a little lacking in the way of plot, but it's almost okay.

Just watched Transformers 3 as I got banned for three days from my favorite forum. *Punches house into sawdust*

Man on a Ledge looks good.

And as for Battleship... did somebody decide there ought to be a Crysis movie?

Saw it recently, only after someone told me it was worth the effort/money. Somewhat 'weird' movie, but rather enjoyable in my book as well.

Wow, now there's a movie with stuff going on that's NOT in the film.

Man on a Ledge ...appears... to be ripping off a small indie film of last year . . . 'The Ledge', a least in the general premise.

If you go to IMDB and look at the upcoming movies thread you'll see that suddenly Hollywood decided that every **** boardgame ever made clearly needs a big screen treatment.

[sarcasm] Can't wait for Candyland [/sarcasm]

I couldn't describe C&A better. I still enjoyed it, regardless of some of the problems.

Watched Resident Evil Afterlife for 25 minutes. Turned Compy into a jet engine and made me sick.
