Exactly. It was relatively easy to do and even cleaned up a few things.

(Amusingly enough, it also makes things internally work more like BZ2.)

Commenting on my appreciation of a game I play everyday, when the time he's spent with it is trying to hack it and certainly never actually playing anyone other than a few minutes a few years ago with his 28K connection. . . is the ultimate in irony, even for a troll.
On the positive side, since BZE is not hacked yet, the mod serves as a wonderful serendipitous filter for the likes of individuals like spork and his online game play ethics.

I didn't like the idea of the game being set to 22 teams when only 7 would work, also DM using team 1 for host and everyone else team 2. The game has lots of loose ends to polish up a bit. I have used Team Dm many times but i can understand why others think it's useless. Perhaps if we had 4 vs 4 teams it would be more appreciated.

Why do you think he dislikes it so much?

Wondering if BZE includes the 1.5 mouse filtering fix. Doesn't seem like it, and is completely unplayable due to dogfighting limitations at 1920x1080.

What's the mouse filtering fix?
I thought BFT used 1920x1080 and played.

He uses a joystick as his primary means of control, though.
Apparently the game was not scaling mouse sensitivity up with resolution correctly, causing extreme lag at high resolution even with high sensitivity settings.

The high resolution mouse fix messes up the mouse at lower resolutions (i believe), i could make a new exe for you if you want it.

That shouldn't have occurred, unless either nobody tested it or nobody uses those resolutions to get a sampling from. I'll dive into this myself when I get the chance.

The current mouse code in 1.5+ should have sensitivity matching the default 640x480 at all resolutions. The initial versions did mess things up in some cases.

I been doing a lot of testing 1.4 mouse sensitivity vs 1.5.1, the deltascale is not even close to 1.4, infact the scale seems backward compared to 1.4. (100 - 50 seems closer to 1.4 than 50 - 200 deltascale in my opinion)
I'm unable to get the deltascale to match 1.4, i can come close but it's just not right and quite hard to have a repeatable test.

I rarely play above 1280x960 because I still use a relatively slow PC, also it's quite hard to see the in-game chat at the really high resolutions. Good news though, I just got my old 2.4ghz with an nvidia 6600agp back from a long absence. FPS stays locked at 75
