think about it. calling them americans if they think of
themselves as americans is pointless. i lived there for awhile. go to brasil, chile, england, italy, france, mexico, wherever, and ask them who americans are. trust me, they won't be talking about south americans.

Unless you consider it a human right and equality issue. In which case, the right to marriage, however you apply theological belief behind the term, should be protected by the government as are other human rights.

First of all, just remeber to keep it civil hear people. I noticed a thread was created for this, perhaps some of the other discussion here could be moved there. I'm all in favor of discussion, but at this point I think it may warrant a move.

These are all the same old flu's we have always had, all that has changed is that now we understand what is really going on with it, and thus our press can make scare stories from it and try to make people fear harmless animals. Protecting yourself from flu is a stupid thing to do. It is an evolutionary battle, your participation is essential to the continued success of your genetic line. The more we avoid exposure the weaker and more vulnerable to it we become.
