Or For some quality modern SF/alien/monsters/AI/spaceship/cyborg/horror...If by chance you posted that pick because you like the bug/ant sociological and psychological hive mind (insect) fighting against the primate branch of evolution
Read 'Gridlinked' around 8 years ago. Asher is pretty good. Not sure if he's Hugo or Nebula material, but his ideas are pretty intriguing.MrTwosheds wrote:I am currently reading through http://www.nealasher.com/novels/index.html Magnificent!
I think a multi tap system would also work with it you could also make it so when it starts to fall a part the power fails then it explodes. the other thing is that a muilt tap building can be built in game.Thats doable in game btw, but only for PRE placed buildings. (pool object as destroyed fire form, deploy a special scav on it that is the full building)
The scrap drop method wont work because scrap has random orientation.
The novels have sort of developed into 2 storylines in the same universe, Agent Cormac and the planet Spatterjay. I really like the Spatterjay ones with its violent oceans, leaches, hoopers and Old captains etc. They all really ought to be read in order if you want it to make sense but can be read as individual novels as well.Read 'Gridlinked' around 8 years ago.
