Well if they want to be consistent, they should stop selling all action films, and a considerable amount of modern fiction too. Maybe they should go the whole way and have all their staff lobotomised and neutered so that they are incapable of violent thoughts too. All human history has been savage and violent, throughout most of it nobody had ever seen a computer game, blaming them now is simply an act of denial of our true nature, this sort of self deception is far more likely to be the real problem.

Hmmm, there are much cheaper cleaner and more efficient ways of exterminating specific lifeforms, the trouble with Nukes is that there's always some smug bugger in a bunker somewhere that you miss and then you have to go and get your casing irradiated trying to flush the buggers out! Miss one there goes your clean sweep bonus! Give me nano tech every time! nice and clean as long as you get it right, whole species removed in a matter of weeks, leaving the others intact for experimentation etc.


Oh there you go! Versillon! You had to mention that didn't you! It wasn't me! that was Dalek Stom who messed up the Nano tech! So we had to fork out for a stellar nova bomb just to get rid of that damn ugly thing the whole planet turned into, it was a one off mistake! just a lesson learn't! Stom did the right thing and recycled himself, I don't see why I should get blamed for the mistakes of my inferiors for decades on end...The AI occupying the planetary core was perfectly shielded, and there was no sign at all on the surface that they had made such an abomination, I don't even think they knew it was there themselves and it certainly did nothing at all to stop them all being turned into sludge before it assimilated the nano tech and tried to turn the whole planet into a huge interstellar battleship! Besides its always worth having a lump or two of Neutronium in the stores, you never know when its going to come in useful and it doesn't really matter if you irradiate half a stellar cluster, at least you don't have to hang around and soak it up with your casing do you!

They don't really have place in an interstellar extermination program, they only work on feeble species who don't have the sense to protect themselves, try using one on Vermin like the Tragnassi and you'll have em swarming around you begging for more! Damn silicon based vermin just love radiation, Use a well designed nano tech on the other hand and you can just process them straight into a useful computing substrate.
