BZNES in 1.2 by TV had it, but I have no idea how.

Probably grabbed the var for whatever you were set to chat to at the time. Me? I just keep track of it, not too hard.

I checked that out, tried to include it into 1.3 - but the interface configs are changed so I couldn't just put it into "bzgame_weapon.cfg".

Maybe RD can do it, anways I will ask someone else for help - If we succeed I will post it here.

Ah one more thing.

Red Devil: Does the bzgame_state.cfg show 10 (better 14) players in the list?

posted an update for the custom cfg i use for 1680 x 1050 resolution. link is in first post of this thread.

+ extra large chat/messages font created by TV is used.
+ added more rows to score table to accommodate 14 players
+ changed the background of the scores table
+ added more rows to chat/messages box
+ added tweaked nav-naming cfg (moved it above scores table, enlarged edit area)
+ cleaned up stuff

i recommend setting this in GamePrefs.ini/LocalPrefs.ini when using this cfg.

UseScorepanelBackdrop = false

edit: just unzip into addon or into a new folder in addon

That's the 640x480 version of bznes. The higher res ones look markably better with larger fonts, score list and darkened chat background, but that's the one for those who prefer to play in low-fi.

1.2's bznes used 640_bzgame_stats.cfg, 800_bzgame_stats.cfg and 1024_bzgame_stats.cfg . I don't think 1.2's shell was capable of auto-detecting the cfg file to use so you had to rename one of those to 'bzgame_stats.cfg'

i'm going to work on setting the say prompt to all/team/one; just wanted to get a good point to begin again.

freaking TV was way ahead of our time...

uploaded an update that has the All/Team/One indicator replacing the "Say:" text next to the chat edit line.

added some more rows for the team scores and the separator, made chat entry use extra large font
