Re: Forgotten Enemies for PB6
Wandering reticle? That should be the fault of some weird ODF pointers or some mis-parented parts. I'm inclined to give it a look now..
Mission 5 notes: Recycler builds hadean service pod. Oops! Don't know if this is in other recys.
Enemy comes on extremely strong. opening rush kills at least one turret, but then they send waves of zeuses Krulls and xares (groups of 3) one after the other by the time I built one turret and 2 scavs. Hmmm... Try playing just the first 5 mins of the mission with stock ships instead of cheat ships. You'll see
Nicer view distances though.
Units ignore commands again sometimes. Not sure if it is a PB6 issue. Told turret to hold while it was on a path to deploy and it continued to its deploy location.

Re: Forgotten Enemies for PB6
While I'm pumped that this has been released, yellow text makes my eyes go bad on white forums. I'm assuming you're doing that as a meaning to grab people's attention and forcing them to highlight it so they actually read it, right?
If so, well plaid. If not, might want to change it to red.

Re: Forgotten Enemies for PB6
Couple of modifications from the original FE to suggest:
- If there is a Hadean service pod as suggested above, perhaps place that in the Hadean build tree. I remember BBB releasing a Cerberi service pod too, which would make a nice equivalent.
- The EDF, Cerberi and Hadeans use the same sparker effect. Might I suggest they use different ones? The EDF would work well with the same one as the ISDF, the Hadeans could use TJ's brown sparker/smoker and the Cerberi could get the new FE one.

User Control Pane/Board Preferences
yes, the ignoring of orders is engine stuff.
Hadeans already have their own pods, thanks to Avatar.
yes, the build effects are a back burner item, but if you already have some, send them along.
have you checked Missions 4 or 5 and 15 yet?

5 is impassable due to the relentless hoards of enemies. 4 was fine when I ran through it, nothing structurally broken.Red Devil wrote:User Control Pane/Board Preferences

I was a little shocked when my recy built a hadean service pod in 5 though (maybe 4 haven't checked other missions that require a deployed recy)
I do know that in V1 the recycler made ISDF service pods.

Hmm, maybe the key to mission 5 is keeping all the starting units intact while the the recycler deploys to save scrap for gun towers faster. I'll try that.
Pathing mishap: ordering the cargo ship to the base nav, it gets hung up over water and a hill it cannot climb over.

Re: Forgotten Enemies for PB6
did you delete the 2 folders after you installed the full v2 and before update 5?
Re: Forgotten Enemies for PB6
Yes, I did...please assume that I do the basic steps so we can get to the cause of the issueRed Devil wrote:did you delete the 2 folders after you installed the full v2 and before update 5?

Re: Forgotten Enemies for PB6
I want to understand the question, what problem am I looking for again?
Re: Forgotten Enemies for PB6
Hadean service pods being built by EDF recyclers. Shouldn't be anything more than a simple asset check, I'll have a look.
EDIT: I've not got any EDF recyclers with epserv in them, sorry.

Have you actually tried building it in game, aka testing?AHadley wrote:Hadean service pods being built by EDF recyclers. Shouldn't be anything more than a simple asset check, I'll have a look.

Mission 5 specifically.
