I too have allot of Logitech products. As a matter of fact, I have played with the same model stick since late 1999, the
'Interceptor'. My muscle memory is hard wired to the dang thing. Not
THE same stick, as I have worn out several over the years.
I also have the M510 mouse, the K550 KB keyboard, and the 400W
Z560's speakers. . .and have never been disappointed in any of them.
But on to the headphones. . .I bought the gaming Logitech headphones
G35s about 18 months ago. I'd give the sound quality about an 8 out of 10. The faux 7.1 is passable, and adds a nice touch to games. I grabbed them when they went on sale for $89. However, there is something I sorely miss. The G35s have their own sound card and uses a USB interface. I would have preferred a 3.5mm plug and use my card. It makes for some complicated juggling when trying to voice-over onto existing video or other multiple recording tasks, etc. But. . . I
really wish I had spent the extra and gone for the wireless G930s. You're right, the cord is a major pain, and you're a prisoner to your computer.
