I think when he says 'take a screenshot' he means CTRL+G (or whatever BZ2's screenshot button is) instead of PrtScrn or whatever the normal button is to take screenshots. Rightclicking on the bz2 shortcut, goin into the compatiblity tab and checking the box that says 'disable desktop composition' seems to help for taking screenshots from Win7 at least.

Screenshots arr disabled in mp. You can bypass this by using steam to launch bz2.

It does when it works. You use print screen to put the image in your clipboard. You then open up mspaint.exe. With mspaint opened, you press Ctrl + V to paste the image.
In Windows 7, you get nothing but a black image. When I last messed with taking screenshots, you had to run bz2 windowed, for it to take proper screenshots in Windows 7

Does clipboard hold several screenshots taken with the screenshot-key?
(I have clipboard turned off cause I find it annoying, so I assumed it can only hold 1 screenshot

)
Without clipboard you effectivelly can only take one screenshot at a time, so it is not a particulairly good method to use when you are in a MP-type game.

That's what the "Disable desktop composition" fixes.

No it is not. Add BZ2 to the steamlist of games and launch using Steam, it should give you the Steam overlay you normally get in Steam based games.
(Havent tried launching BZ2 from Steam, so I'm not a 100% sure it works, but it worked for other games, old games, so I assume it works just the same for BZ2 or even BZ.)

That maybe work, i don't say that don't.
I mean, i will never use steam, it's garbage, it's a launcher for games who can launch theyrself, it's just a marketplace with a lot of restrictions and spying ON and IN your games.

There's a damn good reason a good 90% of the games industry in this country see Steam as a good thing. As to spying, examine it forensically and you'll find that the only checks Steam makes are on its own files and those of games whose developers opted to use Steamworks.

As somebody who has openly claimed to not be a big fan of Steam, the app (not the store), I still recommend the use of it. However if its just for taking screenshots you can probably get some other tool to help you, if you really dont want to use Steam.

As said earlier, Fraps is a good one. You could just Google other ones too, or use XFire. I haven't use Steam yet, I don't want to get involved with the "gaming on Steam is life" kind of world.
