Good to know netflix is carrying it. Not sure if they are in Canada or not. Damned licensing complications.
iTunes also carries all the episodes (for rent or download). $24 or so for a full season in HD is reasonable.
Netflix is moving to Canada... but personally I don't think it is worth it. They don't have new movies, it's all a bunch of old movies that are 3 years and older, also in Canada the standard internet package only allows for about 60GB of bandwidth, Netflix would eat that up no problem.

Are you kidding? Netflix has been in Canada for some time now. Yeah the selection isn't as good as it is the U.S. (due to having to re-negotiate licensing for the movies) but it's decent enough for the pricetag. There are plenty of TV episodes and 'older' movies that make $8/month worthwhile.

I don't have caps and I'm not throttled. I don't know if the limitations you are describing are necessarily nation-wide standards. It kind of sounds like you're describing Bell but correct me if I'm wrong. Netflix also announced a while back that they were changing how they streamed movies in Canada to reduce bandwidth cost. Probably in light of Bill C32 coming up.

No, but Irdis' "dying words" to Rory were an obvious reference to River Song. I believe the first half of this series ends at episode 6 before taking a break for summer. So I predict a River appearance in that episode. Some kind of 2-part cliffhanger that will kill us while we wait over the summer. And what do we have to chew on while we wait? Well I guess Torchwood is starting up again, aren't they?

Is it really?
Or is that just a rumor?

Hmm, going to be a bit short on characters as they killed most of em off.

Series will definately be split into two. I've got a run-down of the next few episodes around here somewhere, if I can find it.

Not a rumour. New series is being filmed in the U.S.

Yes, but I assume they'll just introduce new ones.

I have it too. They are definitely doing it. Which is kind of good, i think, since I hate watching the whole series in a relatively small span of time then have to wait until December for a morsel again. :D

Pretty?
She got voted for "the worst singer/song ever!"

It's actually impossible to tell from Friday how good/bad a singer she is because such incredible amounts of autotune are used. She did perform an acoustic version and, unaided, she has the potential to be a good pop singer.

She didn't write the song herself either, by the way, so you can't judge her for that.

Whilst I intensly dislike the song, I also feel really sorry for her. She's getting rediculous amounts of hate over something pretty much done entirely by AMF, and now she's going to have it hanging over her head for her entire life. The two parties probably most to blame are AMF and Black's mother :P

Black's mother paid 4000 frikin dollars to have the video made.
That's one messed up mother.

I am a bit stuck here. The only way I could watch these ATM is "time shifting" via a bit-torrent of someone's DVR, and while walking the line on the side of legal with the Draconian laws popping up in the US and the UK as well as the complete disregard of the US constitution as of late I can't (they have SWAT Teamed someone, breaking a bone in their limb and killing their dog, because they were DOWNLOADING something).

I always miss it when it is on BBC, it doesn't seem to be On Demand, VCRs are useless with modern cable boxes, and I am *not* paying for DVR *service*.
