Creepy experiences while driving/on the road. If you have any, share them.

Driving of a bridge, rolling over several times to land in water, upside down ... not fun at all .. and scary as hell.

A while back, on a black iced road, I almost slid right into a gas pipeline installation, I slammed the brakes to spin myself and rolled up in the brambles right next to it. One of the bigger limbs about broke through the windshield and would of spiked me through my head.

Man, worst thing I can say aside from dealing with other NJ drivers is that I've driven over a pool of blood in the fast lane for the past 3 days.

awhile back, driving on the interstate on ice, a guy driving a small toyota 4wd pickup with big tires sails by me in my small 2wd pickup with small tires because, well, he just has to show that he can go faster because he has 4wd and big tires...
he spins out, i pass by him as he's spinning around like a top headed for the guard rail, a look of sheer terror on his face

as i look over at him - and smile and wave.
other than that, ran over a rock coming up a canyon and tore open my automatic transmission pan, which leaked out all the way home.

I rather have that than using public transport and seeing a big bloodstain in front of me, that I (more or less) have to watch for over an hour ..

Stopping at the traffic lights and seeing 2 cars that are side by side infront.
A hand reaches out of the first car with some money and gives to a person in the second car. The person in the second car then hands a paper bag to the first car. Weird.

Took a corner too fast at night - pavement turned to gravel, car started fishtailing. Next thing I knew, we were up the side of a rock cut. A couple meters before hitting a telephone pole I regained control and swerved the car back onto the road with no real damage (except some mud and grass packed into the underside of the car).
Had my license for maybe a couple months when that happened.
Not my scariest driving story, but my earliest scariest.

My wife has a truly creepy/scary driving story when she was down in New Mexico travelling with friends.

Man, worst thing I did when I was still new to my license was a collision at 2 MPH (no damage, twit stopped short).

It called drug dealing on the move. Very difficult to stakeout.
