Apparently there have been changes made to the chatroom.
1. You must have an account on gamesurge to even join the chatroom.
2. Even when you do register, you can't say anything due to the following.
* #Bz2 :Cannot send to channel

Are these two changes intentional? I had to fire up a third party irc program to figure out that I was getting rejected due to a gamesurge account. I doubt anyone using the in-game irc button will see this message or will know what to do.

Has anyone else experienced difficulties joining the #bz2 chatroom? I have used the following configurations so I didn't assume it wasn't working based on one configuration.
1. Cellphone on WiFi
2. Cellphone on 4G
3. In-game irc
4. HexChat (Linux Mint 17.1)

You still can't? N1 made some changes that should have fixed it.

The cause was actions done by the server before ChanServ rejoined after a net-split. I think it was changes made to allow ChanServ to take control, but it never undid the changes. The room was locked, voice+ only, etc.
