Is it possible to somehow disable the function that makes your nickname appear over every unit in singleplayer?

Take Cmd. Shabayev for example, if i was to play 1.3 singleplayer she would be indicated on my HUD as:

"Mr_Scorpion
Cmd. Shabayev"

Instead of just simply "Cmd. Shabayev" like on the CD retail.

heh, i have been thinking the same thing recently. pretty sure it takes the ID you are logged in as and uses that. you can create a blank ID by clicking on an empty login slot and hitting the spacebar once.

Yup, it would be nice to have the option to turn off player names, esp, for SP and IA.

I remember that started around 1.3 PB4. It's always been a bit odd.
