Thruster ground sprites

So having made a race who's thrusters generally point at the ground , I find I have splash.0 sprite drawn on the ground underneath them, don't particularly like it, so I tried
flameSpriteName1 = "" to make them not appear, worked ok in the editor, but in the full game (multiworld) I get intermittent white square's of no-sprite being displayed.
Any other idea's how I can not have a ground sprite displayed?

What about a spoof texture? Note that spoof has to have 1 non transparent pixle.

At least test with and see what happens. If it flickers the same.

I was testing a unit that had a render of a pilot geometry on it when it was piloted and when empty the pilot kept popping on for a split second in MP. Perhaps some fix for effects not showing is causing this?

I know which unit you mean (or potentially 2 of), and yeah I've seen it too.

Ill go with my practically invisible ripple.dxtbz2 for now.

Even with an entry like this
flameName1 = "flame_1"
flameTextureName1 = "blueyswrl.dxtbz2"
flameSpriteName1 = "ripple.dxtbz2"
the ground sprite still intermittently shows a white rectangular square, in multi-world.

This is a bug with the renders in Multiworld.

Then write up a good (useful, succinct) bug report. There might have been one a while back on mantis, but it's lost.
