It would seem that NASA has finally started to look into the possability of a once true Cthonia. These pictures of Vesta only prove that the true fifth planet once existed! They say they will not et close to Ceres to avoide contaminating it, where we all know in actuallity that they don;t want to risk finding Hadean relics!

It was called Icarus, damnit!
Also, the article says that the belt could have formed into a planet, had Jupiter not prevented it. The theory of it once being a planet is nothing more than just that - a theory.

Re: They found it
You do have to wonder why they are concerned about contaminating an asteroid, so far our search for extra terrestrial life has turned up just about nothing at all. I think that once we have decided that there is nothing there, we should deliberately contaminate it, then who knows what may happen in a few million years...Dawn will not be able to venture as close to Ceres' surface for fear of contaminating the asteroid.
