Re: Interesting article thread
Well there's a difference between bad luck and being too dim to build a nice strong brick wall round your garden after the second or 3rd time.

Purr pussycat you have so many lives to live
Claws out dig deep and scratch away the skin
You know you own the night, so go howl under the full moon
These streets are filled with killers and comic book goons

Tut, surely you can see that the need, by poor defenceless little politicians, to have a viable enemy, with which they can terrorise or distract their gullible electorate, far outweighs the right to life of a few million people...

Think you misspelled that. I'm still hearing rumors that the plan is to start a nuclear exchange to wipe out around 50% of the (Global) population.MrTwosheds wrote:million

As long as I live and can get some chocolate truffles, I'm alright with that.

They'll be glowing. I don't think I'd eat them if I were you.

Re: Interesting article thread
While I can quite believe that there are people who think that might be a good idea, I would like to think that those in charge of such devices, do take some sensible precautions against letting the loonies play with them. As far as I can tell, the only nation realistically capable of taking part in such an exchange are 1.The USA and err 2.The USA. Russia's missiles almost certainly don't work any more and China's would probably fall apart too, just like everything else they make. Nobody else has anywhere near the quantity of insane planet wrecking size bombs required to achieve this particularly insane goal. Of course I can see the sense of it, in political terms, It would be quite useful for taking peoples minds off of the mess Global capitalism has made of the US economy, and there would no longer be any pressing need to have any more of those annoying election things to convince the people that what they think, makes even a little bit of difference to the folk who actually run the world. It would also shutup those irritating know it all Scientists, who are still being very very annoying about something much worse happening that they really just don't want to hear about.I'm still hearing rumours that the plan is to start a nuclear exchange to wipe out around 50% of the (Global) population.
The problem with this plan though, is that it is just not profitable.

Kids starving, Alabama doesn't care. Illegals are just that much of a problem, according to the obvious Christian Party in control of the Alabama state.
