I have seen a constant stream of bitching from those who have no idea what testing really is. Most of them try to relate map testing to patch testing and to do so is ludicrous. They are FAR from the same and even a moron can see that; all of you could probably see that if not for the ignorant veil of elitism that permeates your ranks.
You are referring to the map testers as less than morons, because EVEN morons can see that patch testing and map testing isnt the same. Also this whole post makes you the elitist since you think you're better than the stupid map testers.
Yea, no. That comparison is pretty paper thin so I don't even need to bother correcting it. Though sure, half agree with me (mostly with a continued misunderstanding of what I said) just to forward a flawed retort, that isn't transparent, not at all.
I play this game and many others. Just because I keep my identity when I play separate from this identity so that the ****-storm that is the anti-1.3/modder crowd will stay away from me does not mean I do not play. The fact you do not know simply means that my anonymity when I wish it so is far better than that of any of the rest of you.

Correct, I simply related that the power of their conviction on a flawed point caused them to counter the state of reality with something someone of a clear mind, no matter how feeble, could easy distinguish as a fallacy.
Iguana - if you know of "so many bugs," as you claim, and care one iota about getting them fixed, try reporting them. For a quality bug report, see something like this. Simple. If your only goal is to try and evangelize your cult of gameplay style, no thanks. I've made it clear multiple times now that I don't have large chunks of time to dedicate to being fed your kool-aid.

Helps to know who you are cuz I like to know when I'm playing with buds
Nothing is being demanded, he was offering you an experience, so you can see the fun that this 'bug' created. You're the ones sitting on your high horses, just because you know we need you.
You can say 'stick to your 1.2 fly patch' or whatever you call it, 1.3 players who have tried 1.2 don't play it because of the hovering, but because of that lag that is non-existant in 1.3.
It's quite humerous to think that you guys believe that listening to inexpierienced players, who know BARELY anything, in comparison to the higher skilled vets. I'm not disregarding their opinions, as everyone deserves one. But you'll get alot more help from a 'vet' like ourselves who know what we're talking about. Also some of you call hovering 'cheating' its not a cheat where i'm concerned. Nobody gains an advantage if everyone is able to hover. When i say this, i don't mean those who can ACTUALLY do it, because you will always have different skill levels in games.
You have a split community, due to changes you're not WILLING to make. Don't you think bz2 will be alot stronger and will possibily last longer, if everyone played the same patch?
Flying sucked, it ruined bz2 for me and countless other bz1 players. You seem to remember the split 1.2 1.3 communities but the overarching split in bz1 and bz2 was for that reason as well. Broken physics.

Flight is a bug. Doesn't matter if people can or can't do it. As to "unifying" the community, well, as I posted here, well, the 1.2ers just don't play games online anymore. The gamespy server browser shows *zero* games of 1.2 for maybe 23 hours of the day. pb6 has the games. Sounds to me like there's a consensus being reached, which doesn't include flying bugs.
Topic locked, again, flying is a bug, that bug is dead, and people are moving on from the BZ2 patch versions that had that bug. You can still play 1.2, but sure seems like nobody really wants to anymore.
