Well, my friends, it's been a long time since I first played BZ2 (seven years, in fact), and in that time (especially since 2007) I've been an active member of the community and done many things. I've had a good time.

Unfortunately, there are a select few that seem to want to ruin this game for everybody. And I am sick of these people. They grief and spread lies, while all we can really do in response is sit in our own little corner, grumble, mod, and perhaps attempt convince the odd poor newb otherwise.

And so, before these people completely ruin the fun of BZ2 for me, I am leaving. This means that everything I have worked on will be left unfinished unless somebody else wants to invest the time in it (Perfidious, Insidious, Zero Hour, the UEP, Fleshstorm PB6, and the later projects I've been planning). I've got far more important things to do with my life. I have a six-hour-a-day college course, followed by a six-to-twelve-hour-shift job four days a week. I may not be as busy as somebody like Nielk1, but I'm also not superhuman.

Goodbye, good luck, have fun and don't let the trolls get you down.

Perhaps someday we'll see each other around again. But I wouldn't count on it.

You know, the staff at BZ2Maps considered NK1 and VSMIT for moderator positions at BZ2Maps immediately following the BZU shutdown, but now we are glad we did not go through with it since they have not only failed, absolutely, in helping to maintain community relations, but have worsened them as an effect. You did however, and I could usually agree with what you were saying because your perspective wasn't clouded by ego or childish emotions.

That said, I hope you stick around.

Actually what I said was, it could be dangerous with the other new members of BZ2maps and the generate hate of me of them and growing among the other members. I said we should wait and see what happens because to make me a moderator then would probably not only make me an even bigger target but cause BZ2Maps to fall into a swarm of even MORE obscenity and insanity.

Of course, sure, the fact I actually bothered to make all these considerations and that I am the constant target of hundreds of attacks makes me the cause of such issues. I was NEVER childish nor was I even egotistical. You will do nothing but fail to find any example of such unless you resort to misquotes and conjecture.

Yes, again, I WAS asked, and I am the one who said NO. I said NO because I feared that the garbage from Vearie, Purplehaze, Fulmen, Sly, and AC/DC would tear the entire site apart be I a staff member.

In every case and conflict, I was highly articulate and gave my points with no only clarity and simplicity but with moral fortitude and logic. I was met with moronic insults and things I cannot even mention here.

And now you have the nerve to come here and blame me and VSMIT for that?

If you really think that way I see no reason to continue even trusting you, for you are completely unable to even THINK without a twisted biased beyond my comprehension.

If such things continue, I will cease bothering to consider the well being of that fraction of the community and will let its cancer destroy it from the inside.

What I mean is that not only did you fail at using any kind of diplomacy, you failed to even try. Instead being caught up in flame wars and all sorts of little arguments that it would have been better to stay out of.

This is an example of what I am talking about. A good portion of the hate that's directed towards you is the result of your own actions and failure to act like an adult and control your emotions. Not all situations can be solved with the direct application of anger and force. Hell, I can get pissed off too, it doesnt mean that i'm always gonna let every second-rate troll pull me into an argument that's going to unbalance me even further. Most of the time when that's about to happen I just step away from the computer once in awhile and try not to get so riled up -- thus when I actually do respond I can do so in a way that helps to dispel the situation instead of aggravating it further.

Anything there, regardless WHO you are, is allegiance. If you are 1.3 that means you are against flying, therefore the enemy.
The way I see it, they see Nielk and Vsmit as people capable of reintroducing flying but refusing to do so out of malice. That's not the case, but you can't argue that there.

Think of it as BZ1 situation. Go to bz1.net and if you are part of the BZE...I guess anything... you are on the bad guy side. Simple as that. The stigma is there.
