UPDATE:
Several scenes filmed.
I still need a low, grumbly voice similar to Major Manson's.
Please someone take this part!
PM ME!

Sorry if this is too much of a bump, but can anyone turn a Movie Maker file into a Windows Media file? I have a trailer ready, but I don't have enough RAM to save it as a WMV...

What kind of voices can you do?
Russian or Manson type?
Or just a generic grunt type?

I have a pretty wide range, though that's jsut me. I do have a descent sounding Manosnesque voice, so i'll try and get something to you when I can. but I am busy at the moment.

Not bad, framerate is a little lagging and I don;t understand yet the correlation between the BZ1 and BZ2 scenes, but looks good.

Also, what is the basic story to this film?

Don't know how to change the framerate... Can you tell me?
The BZ1 scenes are flashbacks from the Scions.

Here's a summary:
A squad of ISDF soldiers are stuck on Rend with one drop ship piloted by one of their own.
They CAN move to different planets, but their commander won't allow them to.
They are the last defense on Rend, and they are not going to give up. But that's what the Scions say about themselves. When several of their teammates die, the rookies have to take the matters into their own hands.

I see. I don;t know anything about fraps, so I can't say about the framerate.

Also, I wish to PM you my voice audition, but I am not sure how to upload an audacity file to Pm, do you?

You can upload it to mediafire or someplace or get a spot to host on bzscrap.org.
If not, you could email me, but I'd rather download it.
Also, who are you auditioning for?

Two complaints I have:
1. Windows Movie Maker... *shudder*
2. The frame rate. I never saw it go past 26, which would be a huge issue if you are planning to be the one 'filming' it. It isn't a Fraps issue (that I'm aware of), it's actually your computer. Either you have a slow computer, or you are running too many programs in the background. Before 'filming', try to close as many programs as possible, or you can try using a program like Game Booster to close as many unneeded programs and services as possible.

Note: I have been known to be wrong.

I'd like to add to this, since I do a ton of recording myself. When you're recording, frames per second is preferable over detail so lower your game resolution. You'll find things work much more smoothly at 640x400 than 1280x1024 for example, since it has significantly less pixels to render per frame. You lose detail however, so it's about finding the balance that your computer gets reasonable FPS at while retaining as much detail as possible.

Hint: start as low as you can and work up so you know what you're aiming to get in terms of FPS.
