Google+

Post by PowerB »

I couldn't see a topic on this, so I decided to make one.

I recently got invited to Google's new social network 'Google+'. I'm enjoying it quite a bit, but it doesn't seem to have as much functionally as Facebook. Though I never used the 'sorting friends into groups' on Facebook, I find that i'm using the 'Circles' function regularly (might be because I only accept friend requests only from people I know on Facebook, but on G+ I've added people from GoN into a 'Games.On.Net' circle...)

Also, If anyone wants an invite, just ask :D

Probably 10,000.

But there will be only a couple of active ones, as usual.

Yeah I quite like it too. Intelligently designed.
I gave up on Facebook 3 or 4 years ago. Don't have accounts at any other sites like that, really.

the intel/police/marketing community loves this stuff:

"Ha! We don't have to track them - they're doing it themselves! "

That you know of. There are a couple of social network sites here you (probably) havent heard of cause they are national, Dutch-orientated, sites. People that are on facebook tend to also have a Hyves/[...]-account.

On facebook you show your mugshots, on Hyves you discuss the weather with strangers ... than go to linkedin to bash your employer :)

And people wonder why kids these days are so fat ... cause you let them spend their social life from behind a PC .. you parent. 8-)
