A beta and a demo are two different things. If it was a demo, say demo, if it was a beta demo, say beta demo. All we know is it looks like a full game, even if beta phase.

In this case the question is does the magazine allow for the distribution of their demos. I would love a copy of these, but copyright and distribution rules are confusing and it is easiest to er on the side of caution.

the intressing is that the pic from the magazine came with that goddamn classic cockpit from intro, but the beta doesn't have it this cockpit

There has been much speculation over that "original cockpit."

It was either just pasted in during the development stages for preview releases, or outright removed from public demos for one reason or another.

That isn't from the game, it's from softimage 3D from the intro movie assets.
The Beta test cd 0.8 doesn't have those graphics.
It maybe interesting to recreate that hud in the game though.

well bz trailer on YT has this cockpit, maybe there's a alpha version on interwebz that no one has it

After a little research, the 0.7 SnakeEye linked is the publicly-available BZ demo that can be found at various gaming sites. Here's a direct link. Windows 95 compatibility mode and a pre-Vista system is required.
