I did the same thing when I got Portal 2. You just have to see it to the end.

It was alright. Story seemed interesting, but I didn't find it unique enough. The only uniqueness it has is the fact that its more about puzzles rather than shooting.

Eh well, anyway, people like it, I don't particularly like it myself, so meh. Didn't really enjoy the first and second game really.

So what if I'm a harsh critic. PC games these days suck, with a few exceptions here and there.

just finished singleplayer today and it was an excellent experience: storyline, characters, humor, physics, tools, graphics, length, depth, scale, et al. had to resort to the walkthrough when the puzzles became more intricate, so i was glad they were available on Gamespot.

very impressive.

I agree with this point in regards to the multiplayer campaign and slightly on the fact that the puzzles seemed easier, but that is probably because I knew what to expect given I had completed every aspect of Portal (Adv. Puzzles, unofficial official map pack, etc.).

Fun experience nonetheless.

I found all the puzzles pretty easy except one where I did it right the first time but a niggle stopped it from working (didn't excursion funnel myself quite high enough). Actually, the one light-bridge Co-Op level was a pain!

I loved the story. I loved the music, the atmosphere, the humor. I loved the personality in the machines, I loved it all.

There was one or two that took me an hour to figure out, but I didn't have to resort to any online help.

Oh god, that one took me ages. I was trying to fling myself off the angled platform from the angled platform. Failed epically.

I think mine was one of the first few with the blue gel. Because the blue gel discolored the platform it landed on, I didn't realize you could place a portal there.
