Although I believe the Cybermen make a brief appearance this season.

Re: Doctor Who
It is quite obvious that the Daleks above are planning on returning to the 1960's
This probably explains why they will not be available for this seasons filming.

Re: Doctor Who
Yes, but I'll still miss them.
It isn't Doctor Who without Daleks!

Re: Doctor Who
They aren't gone forever. Relax.
Besides, there's been plenty of Who without the daleks.

THANK YOU FOR NOT SPOILING ANYTHING!
If you say any spoilers please make them tiny.
I still have to wait 30 mins!

A theory stated here is correct. Not saying which one.

Re: Doctor Who
Well I can't say I was surprised by any of it. Not saying it was bad, it was definitely one of the better episodes this season.
I think showing the baby's name plate at the beginning of the show was a dead giveaway to those who hadn't already suspected.
Now, saying that, I agreed with the theory that Melody was who we thought she was from way back. However, I was kind of hoping for another timelord. I think that has pretty much been done away with. Who knows, maybe the Host got Rani, too.
Since we have what? Three months until the next episode (in all honesty I forgot there was an episode 7 coming this weekend, and didn't DL the episode until later Saturday night)? I'll re-watch all episodes, back to back, at some point this summer. Maybe when my daughter goes camping with the grandparents and it's a little quieter around here.
When the series restarted in 2005 I watched four episodes (maybe six) then stopped watching it again until a couple of years ago and watched them all in sequence. Sometimes, I think, it's better to watch a show that way. Doctor Who is no exception.
Any thoughts on the warning that River gave the Doctor? New direction for the series?

Re: Doctor Who
When does the second half of this series pick up again? August? September?

Re: Doctor Who
I hope August.
The gap is supposed to make you want more, but personally, I've forgotten about it...

I'm running out of things to watch on rainy days.
(maybe i've just had too many rainy days)
I initially thought the gap was only to be 8 weeks.
