Battlezone 2 has to be the greatist PC game I have every played. The first time I got it was when I was 6 years old.. My dad go it for me and when I started playing it, I was playing it for years and from 6-14 years im stilling playing.. Battlezone 2 is the a gift to me. God bless America and Activison and Atair.

Can't say it's the best, but it's one of the best I've ever played. If not the best. Because I haven't played them all. So I can't say that it's the best.

It's okay, but it has several gameplay mechanics that ruin it for me. I don't like how you have to hold pools to increase your maximum scrap, which puts you at an extreme disadvantage if you have any less than about 3. It also bugs me that there's no low level passive repairs on your base or how service trucks are high in the tech tree.

So are the units that damage your base (not including chain scouts....). In fact, Service bay is after factory (actually after armory if you are stratting) so service trucks are more like low-medium on the tech tree. Things like walker and APC are high on the tech tree due to needing tech center or Training, and by extension bomber is highest buildable object.
