Heh not an exact remake, one that makes more sense.
The Bz moon suit is in no way good for combat, make a more realistic one. :)

Soo when General Black Dragon had my posts deleted on the old BZU it was fascism and when my posts was split off a thread on this forum... what's that?

Glad you cleared this up. ;)

I enjoy all BFT's art work. (still waiting for his Bz pilot though...)
I don't recall GBD having any such power for one, and nothing is ever deleted, EVER. It is simply archived outside of the public eye for later use as evidence when handing down bans. Technically, EVERYTHING is split.

And I said look like, not are. If you are trying to be facetious, I suggest you stop, for it is likely that all this yammering will be archived for later evidentiary use.

Thanks everyone. I have thought of a 'suit' but the problem is it would be limited. In that, unless I went with socket-based joints, or non-flexible material, I would be limited to one pose. A flexible material requires a rework of the material in all the areas effected for each pose. . with the modeling software I use, since SU doesn't have the capability to easily rework the material. There are some plug-ins that greatly help however. I do have a lot done with an AMEE (Red Planet) type robot to experiment with articulated joints and interferences, but it's not relevant to BZ, but I suppose I could use some of its components.
Ive seen some interesting joins, which sadly I cannot recall, that are purely rotational and yet give a ball-socket like range of movement.

The tank this was screenshotted from was thereafter blown to bits, because being in the air on mag arena is a poor strategical choice.

Somehow I am reminded of Duck Hunt.

I didn't represent the mag well in the render. The ship at the bottom of the screen has launched one at the ship going for the repairs, but it almost looks like the mag sphere is part of the center mound.

Show us the footage from your camera on Io, then we will compare quality.

Stringing together even a low frame rate video of around 15 fps using Indigo Renderer would take my laptop a solid month working 24/7 to make a 40 second movie, and render farms get expensive when moving from still renders to movies.

Yes indeed. Once you make the models, there's an itch to do more with them.

That's what has blown me away many times watching movies. You see an elaborate set constructed for a scene that is used once. . .and maybe for a few seconds in the film.
