Also, with my dream bass, let's make those Iron Cross inlays LED's!

Do you have a problem with LED's?

They're going to eat battery life like you wouldn't believe, plus they'll look dumb if they're not done tastefully.

I'll accept LEDs in the fretmarkers, but not on the body.

Oh, and they'll screw with the resonance of the body, since you're going to have a big hole cut in the top to mount a plate with all of the LEDs attached.

Now LED fretmarkers, done properly, would look pretty snazzy.

Yes, by inlays I mean fretmarkers. Perhaps I sould have said fret inlays. Still, done well, cool.

Wouldn't it be neat to have an inlay on your fret-board that when you make a connection it signals a light above to send a different color light down onto you. For super fast solos there would be an array of different colors hitting you in time with the notes.

A laser harp would be cool and would go nicely with my theremin.

There's a children's science museum here in my city, where there's a laser harp. Or at least it has a laser pen or something making the strings. Steam gets shot out of the ground and you can see the strings. Each time you touch a laser string, it makes the sound. It's pretty cool, but noone takes it seriously.
Although, one time there was an elderly lady with her grandchildren and she played the harp beautifully.
