Closest thing to an actual snuff film that I've seen yet. Lovely underground sleaze, mmm mmm MMMM.
Tried watching that once. Just kind of bored the hell out of me.

Doom. I'd heard some absolutely terrible things about it, but a college friend persuaded me to watch it and it's really not as bad as I'd expected. The soundtrack especially is good (Clint Mansell, NIN and Celldweller) and it's got some damn good actors too (Karl Urban, Rosamund Pike, etc.). Still very much a B-movie, though.

Last movie I watched was resident evil Damnation, which was good for an animated video game movie, it wasn't groundbreaking but was certinally better than a lot of other video-game to movie crap, also watched the new Total Recall which wasn't bad and Diary Of A Wimpy Kid 3 which was practicly the original movies redone with more smarts

Yeah. I wasn't a big fan of the first 2 DoaWK movies, but I really liked the 3rd. Probably cause of Zahn.

As such, it didn't make me mad. Though, if someone's into sadomasochism, they might find some appeal in it.

I dunno. I think anyone into SM/BDSM are more likely to get a thrill out of participation rather than voyeurism. :)

By total coincidence watched back-to-back, the films "Bernie" with Jack Black and then "The Campaign" with Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis. It was eerie just how similar Black and Galifianakis' characters were.

The dinner table, divulge your darkest secrets scene in 'The Campaign' had me laughing so hard I was crying from stomach cramps.

We watched Terminator last night. My first time. Better than I expected. Surprised this help cement Arnold's career while doing nothing much for the guy who played Reese.

watched The Avengers recently. loved it. full of snarky dialogue, good action, good story, and humor.

also saw Captain America, which i should have watched first.

^TDKR was better, imho.
The Avengers loses steam with multiple viewings, while TDKR gets better with each viewing.

Didn't like Capt. America that much.

really good dialog in the tv show, "Last Resort", last night:

"what's the french girl doing on the boat (a sub)?"

"she's critical to the mission."

"Why, are we retreating?"

.
.
.

"that's american as...cowboys."

"we have cowboys, too"

"there's no french cowboys!"

"Robert Duvall?"

"you take that back!"

and so on...

:D

Watched Iron Sky yesterday. Interesting movie for its story, has some form of humor in it, but as it doesnt really stick it isnt all that funny, often little more than stupid/ignorant.
I did however very much enjoy the US-presidents comments about how they generally go about their business
(Eg: like she gets mad at other countries for lying, who than state she is doing the same, where she replies with something like 'but from us you expect it, its normal for us' .. etc etc)

Overall I'd say you probably have to see it for its alternate view on history and some other bits, but dont bother watching it in a theatre or buying it on DVD.
