Sarah Silverman was unbearable in that film, and 70% of it is about her. The first 20% was good though.

Sugar (2004)

I liked this film. It's a romantic drama film about a troubled suburban teen (Cliff), whom hooks up with a hustler from the streets of Toronto's gay ghetto (Butch). Had some hawt gay action in. The late Andre Noble is especially delightful in this film. I quite liked the characters and wanted to learn more about them, although, the film seemed to shoot by very quickly and scenes felt rather unsatisfying. I'm not sure if it was budget or what, but I really think they coulda/shoulda went a slower pace with this. Some things went unexplained and other characters just showed up and weren't introduced. Others just dropped out...

The acting was okay. It had it's good points of interest, such as the fight between Cliff and Butch near the end which left me happily upset. Some characters had interesting quirks.

But, all in all, I say it was a worthwhile experience.

^Really liked the interaction between the kids, but the ending and stuff toward the end with the alien just didn't do it for me. It's overrated, but not terrible.

I agree with that. I loved the movie, but the end came too soon/went by too fast.

Is it any good? I am tempted to go see it but I generally dont spend much on cartoons and so am even more tempted to just wait untill somebody else buys/rents it...

Apparently, Jacob, of the Twilight series, has the hots for a baby that has a bad case of the CGIs.

Saw Lincoln last night, it was well done except it could have used a few more battle scenes. I also found it strange that there was no reference at all to VPAndrew Johnson.

RD, what did you think of Prometheus?
