Good news folks I finally figured out how to get blender to not mess up my uv maps (Thank God thats over with XD).
Ive begun work on a tracked tank and I need to put textures and hp points on my fighter jet. Now I wanted to know what you guys recomend.
Should I start modeling real life objects first or go ahead and make my own stuff?
keep in mind Im a complete noob and my fighter jet is only my second or 3rd model.
Thanks
How should I get started (with modeling)?

Best way to learn something is to read up on it, try it, fail at it, try it again, fail some more, etc etc .. and finally become good at it, imo.
You could also let others educate you, which works, probably even faster, but you than end up knowing how to do something, probably not why you need to do it in such way.
Either way, practice is your best friend.

Thanks guys
Ill just start with my own stuff. But I will go to RL stuff if I felt like it would be better to start with.
