I have 4 copies ...2 still in plastic ....I still see copies for sale on ebay and amazon..... all thow things that could help promote bz is using you tube ...someone also suggested twich so people could see games played live ...Twitch or Twitch.tv is a live streaming ...or VOTE AT GOG.COM or making a web site ....face book...if everyone puts a bit of effort we could gather more players...I made a web site and get very many hits a week ...being nice to players also pays off ...
I really love the way the beta patch is coming along also ...hosting games is much better...
my review of battlezone is i'm surprised it still around .. a decade of the attacks on players ...gamespy droping out ...and to be fortunate enough as to have GSH give so much of his personal time to keep it alive...even after so many obstacles is easy to take for granted.
i'v played 100's of games and all the big names including bad company ect ect ...and I still keep coming back to bz because most games are just missing something
what direction will battlezone go from here?
we need a community ..both players and people to help out.
maybe others have some interesting input as what we could do to get more people ?
i'v spent an amazing amount of time recruiting people votes or trying to get the game out there...

I loved to find a boxed copy sealed. Keep it on my shelf just as monument.

Jab, you're a very quirky person, and I like that. But me and u are gonna have to agree to disagree on a few things. First BZ2 is AWESOME!!!!!!! Its like a first person StarCraft. How can you not like that? Its hectic. Your list of things to do always grows faster than what you can get done. And in those battles where its punch counterpunch and uncertain who'll win til the very end, when you're done it feels like you've really been through something. And yes I could go through the litany of things that are wrong with it (the BOMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!) But think about it. It came out in 99. Talk about being ahead of its time. It was revolutionary. Buggy. But revolutionary. I also humbly don't agree about skipping the single player missions. Yes the storyline wasn't written by Nabacov but some of the missions were real treats.
