6.4 worked except with the upgrading building and such. downloaded it first tried it. found out about the 6.4z19 patch clicked download and it did but still cant play multiplayer or upgrade. cant play multiplayer because every one else has the upgraded patch

z19 downloaded, but did you install z19?

tried the download but computer would not allow me to use it only gave me choice to delete it or not run it.
remember im not a computer guy so im probably doing something wrong. how am I suppose to unpack z19 over bz.exe

just open the zip and select all the files and folders, then select copy all, then open your bz2 install, then paste, replacing all.

if you have custom render*.cfg and tweaked Gameprefs.ini and Localprefs*.ini, you might want to make backups of them first.

hey just got it went to multiplayer and no longer says I need new version but still shows v in pwd does that mean I still don't have it or what tks for all the help

I repuest odf which upgrades every unit! Not from you gsh. I would do it but i dont know how.
Its actually fairly simple, the odf below is ivtankdm.odf.
It has the classLabel = "ivtank", linking it to ivtank.odf
The odf must contain all the headers like [GameObjectClass] that the original does. The only other entries required are those for the things you wish to be different from ivtank.odf.

You have to add everything under morphtank as those values dont inherit.

Iconname, infoname, and wireframename may not either.

one last intermittent bug I forgot to report, and think it may have been reported before, is that sometimes the enemy blast or laser is invisible without sound, yet damage registers without flash on hud. I'll be in a dogfight and think I haven't been hit, I look down and I'm deep red and try and hightail it outta there. It happened quite a few times in a stock z19 4v4 strat just now. Pings were good, all under 200.

The file I linked to is an 'installer' version. You run it and then when it runs you pick which folder BZ2 is installed into and click 'next' and it will install the necessary files.

It works differently from the zip but the end result is the same as a correctly unpacked zip.

As a returning player (I want to relive the campaign!) I am unhappy to see, well, basically that all tracked vehicles (scavengers, Bulldogs...) are either bumping into buildings and other tanks, or their bodies get stuck one inside another and they simply float until they get outside one another.

And they really like to climb things alot...

Short story - vehicles/buildings are like hollow sponges instead of solid objects. Just my 2¢.
