Manually Changing Graphics Settings

Post by Ded10c »

My monitor seems to be incapable of displaying BZ2 with my usual graphics settings. Any way I can change them manually?

EDIT: Crappily written post.

This is what I believe to be the cause of my legal screen crash. Using my normal graphics settings, I crash out with "no signal" on the second. With lower settings (default), I can play normally. I need some way of changing the graphics settings without launching BZ2 itself.

Have you tried alt-enter to get into windowed mode?

I can't get far enough to alt+enter, but I'll try /win and see where it gets me.

EDIT: Yep, it's fixed. I'm sorted.

As readme13.rtf notes, you can put

/safemode

on the BZ2 shortcut, and it'll drop back to safe and sane graphics preferences.

Think I'll use that instead then. At least that way I can run fullscreen.
