I unfortunately won't be able to provide feedback until Friday night/Saturday morning as I will be out of town for work.

Thanks! Glad you liked it. Giving it that "brand new" feel is what I was aiming for.

Observations

When using the GreenHeart variant, I noticed the following.

1. Factory still using stock model
2. Power gen using stock model
3. Armory using the stock model
4. The walled assault tower, the one with two barrels, has a model/odf issue. This triggers an invalid turret prompt. I don't have access to the xsi to verify how the turrets are named in the xsi itself.

1 through 3 should be easy odf edits. They just need to be pointed to the stock models.
4 may be equally easy, if it is just a matter of renaming the turret, in the odf.

Since the release yesterday of Battlezone 98 Redux, there was an uptick in downloads for my mod (yay). But I also thought I better submit some updates.
New version:
-Removes need for the separate patch
-Removes the Addon MISSIONS folder since those missions by Red Devil (at least the necessary Dark Planet one) appear to be in the 1.3.7.1 patch
-Changes to mission 8 Get Help briefing, to somewhat resolve the Battlezone (1/1.5/98 Redux) Icarus planet, and the fact that BZII seems to never have heard of it. - missed this the first time around myself ... whoops.
-Changes to M-curtain and Mits mine to make them more useful.

Go get it now! :D

Being off by one is a classic programmer bug.

Wow... just... wow...

I come back to find Battlezone II is going strong - especially with BZ 98 Redux being released. I was wondering if an HD remaster of BZII was in the works but I didn't have to look far.

A few tiny tiny tiny things that are just my remarks...

1. On the first campaign level, the large cliffside with crystals has been annoying me ever since the first 1.3 Public Beta. I wish a version of them with proper models that aren't clipping through existed. It's a tiny annoyance, I know, since it appears a grand total of twice in all of the vanilla maps. I think it appears in another campaign mission but pretty far out of the way.

2. Since you are willing to change bits of the campaign maps, here's an interesting suggestion - because of New Horizons, we know what Pluto and Charon looks like. Why not make a new Charon sky graphic (keep the old one, because it is reused in later maps) based on pictures New Horizons captured?

3. I'm not worried about bad assets - you've done a good job keeping this encapsulated.

Battlezone has never been prettier - both BZ 1 and BZ 2.

Most likely not. Unless FE has been set up to use them or this mod somehow overwrites the FE datapacks. Both would be a flavour of poor modding.
You could always try poking RD (he wont admit it, but he actually likes it) since he does seem to like the graphical upgrade and is still working on FE.
