The site is loading slowly, but on the bright side it loads.

Things seem better now. DH did tweak which MySQL backend is used for this site, and probably also tweak some other backend things. If this seems good for a few more days, I'll un-sticky this thread.

It's loaded here since Monday.

They had to have changed something network related.

MySQL shouldn't affect ping requests.

Having issues reaching the the site using different public IP addresses from my local ISP in arkansas.

I am able to reach the site from work connection, but it is unusually slow...
