Goodbye BZ2Maps

Just now, I left BZ2 Maps forever.
I got several pms from a user named DubbZ of (Next small words = 18+ Content)gay anal sex I couldn't reach any admins, so I made it where if I get more messages it won't send me any notice and I logged out FOR GOOD. I will have no connection with them anymore. I am not trying to be inappropriate, but truthful. I'm warning you of the member DubbZ. I can't take these emails / pms anymore. If you go to BZ2maps, be careful. I didn't even talk to DubbZ and he just sent me that absolutley disgusting pictures. Please take this to notice and as a warning.

BZ2Maps is also the heartland of 1.3 bashing and hate in the BZ2 Community.

Dubbz recieved a ban yesterday for sending pornographic pictures through PM.

Some of us older gents have no problem with the content, as its pretty hard to unsettle us -- but kids and even teens can be easily disturbed by the content, and in addition it violates BZ2Maps TOS. You have my sympathy.

Looks like I've got two. The guy seems to be a bit of an idiot, definately. But on the whole, once you get past people like AC/DC, Slyifer, Purplehaze and Vearie, the community there is generally quite nice and accepting. Ego has his off days, but who doesn't?

Actually Dubbz is an okay guy most of the time. Heck, I never liked PH even when he was a 1.3 tester (LONG before all the MPI griefing started going on) but Dubbz is an alright guy. He just has a twisted sense of humor (note: meatspin jokes are popular in 1.2).

Regardless, he did violate the TOS pretty badly. His ban will probably stick for a few more days, with any leniency given because he has been a member of bz2maps for years without any major incidents.

Any leniency probably only comes from the fact that most of the members there would have done the same thing if given the chance.

They hate you because they believed that you were part of the 'culture of noob modders' who had something to do with a very controversial topic whose name we dare not speak. It was actually two other individuals who are no longer with us, that I blame for pushing for the decision about that thing in the first place. At least they were the outspoken ones on the matter at the time.
