Not much more than a vacuum cleaner pulled around by monothread.
They've actually always had actors operating them from the insides. Most often, quite uncomfortably.

Never thought the two-parter would be filler, since it's the 'mini finale' before the summer break. They want you to be eager for September(?), after all.

Ok. Just watched it. The whole Pond Pregnancy arc felt completely tacked on. Not all that impressed. Not exactly "on the edge of my seat" waiting for the next episode. Not saying I'm not going to watch it, but just saying. :)

Perhaps, but it was certainly a well-written tack-on.

It was, and I thought it was better than part 1.

Also, somehow stumbled across this. Not sure how.

You just made my day.
Not a bad episode.
Also, my view of Matt Smith is rising.
I'm getting very impressed by his performance.
Still like David Tennant better, but Matt's getting up there.

I like Matt Smith. Tennant was good, too.

Every doctor should be different.

Yes, and everyone likes one the best.
I like Matt's humor and quirkyness.
I like David's sadness and anger.

Both actors have handled acting alongside themselves very well indeed

I have yet to see Matt in a sad state, though.
He's too happy.
A 900 year old time lord surrounded by death constantly ought to feel sad a good amount of time.

Oh, he does anger quite well. And I'm sure he's perfectly capable of sadness.

Capable and going to are different things.
Also, David's doctor would have yelled at Amy for going into the room with Prisoner Zero.
Matt just sat there and asked if Amy was okay.

Also, David Tennant would not have just left the mystery of the girl from series 6 open. He would have looked into it more. Matt didn't. He just left it.

That's nothing to do with how good they are as actors - it's how they're written. Also, we have said already that every doctor is distinctly different from the last.

Indeed, but Christopher Eccleston had somewhat the same personality as David.
You could tell they were one person.
With Matt Smith, you're not really and truly sure.

Really. Watch the early Doctor Who stuff again.

Also, pay attention to Baker's work.
