As they are a minor the real name will never be released. My understanding was that if he did have a BZU user it had not been active in years. He had such an extreme loathing for BZU it would be the sort of thing that prevents registration.

I hate the law that says a minors names can't be released when they are caught doing something wrong. I think the names should be put on a billboard for all to see that way over half of them wouldn't get in trouble to start with.

Well, apparently mother has the ability to control police level stuff for this because it was her phone and thus she has decided on "if they do anything else, I will come at them with both barrels". I quote that.

However, there is still the notice to Google and to GameSpy and to my place of work. I have no control over any of those anymore either as they are all working though their systems. The one based on 'work' being the most scary.

I am however keeping all my evidence, recordings, and records in case mother changes her mind or they continue their rabid trolling, by phone or otherwise making issues.

What is most funny is the caller tried to talk to my mother like I am a child. I am 22, I have a job, and I had already apprised her of the acts of these individuals before the phone calls ever started. Perhaps they, and everyone else, will think twice before tasking rash, illegal, action. Furthermore, GameSpy apparently really doesn't like it when people impersonate employees. And Google is appalled at the misuse of their service that allows for service men and women to call home at no charge.

Basically, it is entirely out of my hands now and left to the mechanization of the various systems involved. So, if anyone has some sort of though to grovel, don't bother. I have officially washed my hands of this situation and will not re-involve myself unless I, or anyone I consider a friend, is harassed again. In that case, I have a few addresses written down here to send legal documents to.

Basically, they are getting off of the civil matter by way of the whim of a post tooth extraction painkiller dosed woman. Something that will not happen again.

After what happened to BZU, I'll admit, I have not been around as much. Honestly, I am finally realizing that BZ2 is a dying game and nothing will bring it back. It's not really worth my valuable time trying to pour my life into something as unstable as this; however, I always like coming back every once in a while to see the goings on and even participating a little bit in some games, testing, or whatever else goes on around here.

BZ2 will never be the same as it was back in high school, when I had enough time to relax every night and play some ZST's, make some maps, chat it up with some BZ2 friends, and plan mods in the future.

I can only hope that someday someone who is very, very wealthy and powerful will randomly come across this website/game and want to make it something better, probably through a whole, new game.

The state of BZ2? The same as it's been for nine years: dying, but still holding on.

Thanks for giving me something to come back to, guys. :)

I am personally planning long term eugenics for this community. I have droves of people who beleive in casual play and creating things, but I am not introducing them until the most unsavory parts of the community die off, be them the first or the last to go.

Don't wait too long as there's no such thing as a prefect community. If they want to play BZII get them started ASAP. The community needs a constant infusion of new blood. You'd also keep more current user active if you could stop trying to mold them in to perfect little members. Unsavory as we are we still want to participate inspite of how we're viewed by others. I've seen a few new members stick their heads up and then just disappear again never to be heard from again. One of the biggest issue's I see now is there seems to be an aweful intimidation factor that turns off some people and discourages them from posting much at all.

Why do you think I'm bringing this to attention? The current community, with all the bitching and moaning, it drives new members away thinking they are not welcomed. I said this before... If nothing changes, BZ2 will die, with little hope of a resurrection. Though I guess at this stage, maybe it would be for the best.

I'll continue to support it on my site with the current mods no matter what happens here mainly due to not liking any of the new games

Better idea: ignore the community entirely and play
