Update: Apparently you can also upload files directly from the Wikifortio site itself too. The site link allows storage time up to 90 days and you can password protect files as well.

If you need a temporary file upload site.
Free Download Manager has an upload feature that's used in conjunction with Wikifortio. to upload shared files for things like maps and models. The maximum time available for files in 30 days, but you can password protect the uploaded files if you want to keep the files private. I tried it with one of my models. Could some one DL it to see if everything is okay? PS: There's no password or member logon requirement. Thanks. If I'm not mistaken the files are automatically zipped when you select them for uploading.

The DL works right, and they're zipped up.
I'd just be hesitant to use it since it's an unknown DL site.

Thanks, no one is twisting your arm though to use it one way or the other. I don't ttrust any download site myself, but unfortunately we must all from time to time use such services to share information. Personally, I'd be more cautious of the contents of the file rather then the DL site itself; most sites now pre scan uploaded files and anybody who doesn't scan all downloaded files routinely surely has rocks for brains.VSMIT wrote:The DL works right, and they're zipped up.
