URGENT Personal Issue!
Okay...
My freaking jerk of a neighbor decides that our dog barks too much.
He's complained before, but we've tried everything.
So this time he goes off and complains to the city.
So we get a letter in the mail today, and it says that we have 10 days to make a decision on what to do with our dog.
We have a family member dying, and now this, so this is ridiculous.
If we try to talk with the neighbor, he acts like a selfish jerk, which he totally is, and he doesn't care.
We have several options:
1. Move to a different house (getting away from the neighbor and fixing the problem)
Problem: Will take a lot of time and with me at school and my dad at work, my mom would do the majority of work.
2. Give the dog to another home (giving it to the pound is NOT an option, she's 3 yrs and she wouldn't last)
Problem: We lose our dog, and our neighbor wins
Any other options?
I need your help.
Each answer is appreciated.
Please help me!

Umm... I don't think moving is really worth the hassle...
Sorry. I think number 2 is better. Of course, you could find a kind person to give your dog to...

Lol, give it to your other neighbors.Lionsword7 wrote:Umm... I don't think moving is really worth the hassle...

Joking aside, I really don't know what to say to this. I suppose giving it away would be the best reasonable option, as moving just because your neighbor is a dick about your dog barking just doesn't make much sense, now does it?

Here's what you do: Get another dog.
Then if the neighbor complains, get a 3rd dog.
And make sure you get the loudest, most annoying dog on the planet, a Chihuahua

Better yet, call that whisperer guy. There are ways to quiet ANY dog.
Then buy the most expensive surround sound you can afford and go to town.

Get a dog, put it in his yard, call and complain it is too loud.

So go out and find a stray and put it in his yard? And then blame him for it?
lmao.
lmao.
Re: URGENT Personal Issue!
Fairly sure there has to be evidence before something can be done (in the UK anyway), so if you're dogs aren't really loud, you shouldn't have a problem.

If you haven't already you could try something like this. http://www.amazon.com/Premier-SpraySens ... B0002D31QU
My personal advice would be to get out of the city/suburbs immediately. Much higher concentration of jerks there. And traffic.

Re: URGENT Personal Issue!
I've been in the shoes of your neighbor when I was working two full time jobs and only home to sleep. My neighbor's dog barked 24/7 and no matter when I tried to sleep, his dog was barking. Living next door to this guy was a nightmare.
I'm a cat person so I know nothing about dog's but if your dog is bothering someone to the point of them calling the city for help then it's the dog owner's problem.
If your not doing enough to keep your dog quite then maybe you need to not have a dog or find one that needs less attention and is less bothersome.

Re: URGENT Personal Issue!
Issue is some neighbors are just rat bastards.
For example:
We had a major storm, it took out a tree across the street, landing on power wires, flexing our poles across the street and ripping the wires off our house (actually, oddly, they stayed connected, it was the trim and mounting brackets that gave way, never lost phone, power, or cable despite it being in the lawn). This also happened to my neighbor's house, doing a good bit more damage.
About a week later we received a notice from the township/county about not effecting repairs (repairs were scheduled) with a photograph of the damage including the parts of the neighbor's house they had taken FROM THEIR YARD, put into OUR YARD, and claimed was our mess. There have also been in the past similar clams because of an old oven or fridge or something on our front porch that was SCHEDULED FOR TOWNSHIP PICKUP and because we had 'indoor furniture on our BACK porch' including photographs taken from someone leaning over the fence on the side of this... neighbor. This was of course, outdoor furniture. It was just a lot nicer than what the rat bastard neighbor had. We even had canvas cased cushions courtesy of home done sewing.
So, from experience and my general disdain for the human race as a whole, I suspect your neighbor is full of ****. Who knows, maybe they are sitting there glowing a dog whistle ever time.

Mental Dogs that won't stop barking are a right pain, teach it to shut up or get it a muzzel.

Does your dog really bark that much?
